Maroon 5 Dedicates New 'Memories' Video to Late Manager

Jordan Feldstein died unexpectedly in 2017

There are no distractions in the new Maroon 5 video for “Memories.” The focus is on the message, which allows itself to be personal for anyone who listens to the song.

The clip simply features a close-up of Adam Levine against a black background while he sings about loss: “Now my heart feel like December when somebody say your name, 'cause I can't reach out to call you, but I know I will one day.”

At the end of the video, the words “For Jordi” appear on-screen in dedication to Maroon 5’s late manager. Jordan Feldstein died unexpectedly of a pulmonary embolism in 2017 at the age of 40.

"It was a tragedy foisted upon us and far and away one of the saddest moments of our lives, and personally of mine," Levine told Variety last year. "This is a kid I’ve known since we were in diapers. He was one of the most important people in my life from a very early age."

“Memories” is the first we’ve heard from Maroon 5 since their Super Bowl performance and the band’s first song since 2017’s Red Pill Blues.
