Bayou Boogaloo - Friday through Sunday along Bayou St John in MidCity. Tons of great bands, lots of crafts, food and fun. While many people boat on down the bayou, if you walk in you can expect a $10 admission fee which is brand new this year. (details)

Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival - Friday through Sunday in Belle Chasse with bands like Rockin Dopsie Jr, lots of great seafood and carnival fun. (details)

Crawfish on the Lake "Bash and Boil" - Saturday at noon, it's our sister station Bayou 95.7's Bash and Boil. The party is at Felix's on Lakeshore Dr and the 1st 1000 pounds of boiled crawfish are just $2/lb. (details)

New Lion Exhibit at the Zoo - Saturday, meet the new pride if lions, check out the new African Safari habitat and extra family activities for the 1st day. (details)
