Kelly Clarkson's Diet Secret...that Lets Her Eat Cake!

Kelly Clarkson has recently started telling people how she has gotten extra fit lately - dropping 37 pounds ("37 pounds lighter...in my pleather!" Kelly joked) she said. And apparently her secret is a book. It's called The Plant Paradox and she said the diet was originally in order to get healthy. "I know the industry loves the weight gone, but for me it wasn't (about) the weight," she said to the Today Show. "For me, it was 'I'm not on my medicine any more.'"

The book basically encourages organic, non-gmo foods and has a strict list of foods you cannot eat - including some fruits and vegetables - but mostly you're cutting out refined carbs. So Kelly said she can still eat cake...but she's making it with tapioca or almond flour.

So the downside??? "It's really expensive to do," she admitted. "I was poor growing up and there was no way my family could have afforded this."
