How I arrived: I was brought in on February 10th by a Good Samaritan. Why I'm the one for you: My Personality Color is Orange, which means I'm easy going, curious, and full of fun. I possess an average activity level so taking me on a long walk and setting aside some playtime with me will make my day even better! Once I'm tuckered out, I'll be happy to snuggle up next to you or roll over for some leisurely belly rubs. I appear to know the commands "sit", "down" and "shake". I also seem to be potty trained! To meet me, please contact foster@la-spca.org or call 504-762-3335. Here is an update from my foster mom: "Julianne had a good weekend, has settled in quite nicely. She gets along well with the other dogs, she is very cuddly and affectionate. She seems pretty well trained, she definitely knows when she is being asked to do something and is obedient . Walks pretty well on a leash ( better than my dogs haha). She hasn't been the slightest bit aggressive in any situation, and she doesn't seem skittish with new people or anything like that, she doesn't cower or seem timid when approached. I think she would be great with kids, or even an older person for companionship. I would say she was probably an inside dog at her last home, she goes out to use the bathroom and then is immediately ready to come inside haha. She will bark when left out, so she probably wouldn't do well in an mostly outdoor situation. She doesn't like the kennel, so I have just been letting her sleep in the back room, and we keep her separated in there when we aren't home but she hasn't gotten into any mischief so far. http://la-spca.org
